Cape Chestnut is a self-catering holiday home located in the well-known coastal town of Hermanus. This house is ideally located a drive from various whale watching spots, town centre and attractions.
The Mid -Twentieth century decorated double-storey home can accommodate 9 persons, and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a guest toilet. The main bedroom has a queen-size extra length bed, and the second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed; these 3 rooms have access to 2 separate neatly renovated bathrooms, which have a showers, and the guest toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with 1 queen-size bed an extra double sleeper and features an en-suite shower.
The open-plan, well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, an oven with a gas stove, and ample modern appliances to use. The adjacent living area has a cosy fireplace and leads out to the deck, with a sea view towards Gansbaai and Grotto where lazy mornings and wined afternoons can be spent on the charcoal patio furniture. The outdoor shower, under lemon trees and with a view to the mountains have 3 braais, an outdoor dining area, and ample parking for up to 6 cars.
In addition, Cape Chesnut is located a few minutes’ from Blue Flag Grotto Beach, within 5 km from Hermanus Golf Club and restaurants and shops in the town centre, 10 km from the Hemel en Aarde Wine Route, and approximately 112 km from Cape Town International Airport.
