Situated along a slim stretch of land between Lion’s Head and the Atlantic Ocean is the bustling suburb of Sea Point.

Worth more than a quick drive-through en route to Camps Bay from the city, Sea Point is extremely popular as both a residential area and as a place to spend an entertaining day. From stylish apartments at the seaside to spacious villas on the slopes of Signal Hill, there is something for everyone in terms of accommodation.

The hugely popular promenade runs the length of Sea Point's beachfront and extends as far as Bantry Bay in one direction and Mouille Point in the other. Here there is constant activity throughout the day, from serious runners to those taking an easy stroll, and people-watching is an activity all on its own.

There are a number of play parks for children along the promenade as well as large lawns for relaxing or playing games. The Sea Point Pavilion is a truly beautiful public swimming pool complex right at the ocean. There is a 50m Olympic size pool plus two splash pools for children and a diving pool.

Sea Point's main road is literally filled with restaurants and it's impossible to walk a few metres without passing a variety of cuisine options. From fine-dining to takeaways, there is something for everyone and something different for every day of the week.
