Portman House is a French/Afrikaans fusion cottage. It offers the hominess of a traditional South African 'plaashuis' (farmhouse) with a combination of French influences. It is set in the beautiful village of Greyton overlooking the mountains, set in a big garden with a big verandah.

Ideal for a romatic weekend for 2, or 2/3 couples that want to spend quality time over a weekend together, ideal for an older couple wanting to take time out for leisurely walks and relaxing in the garden.
Greyton is a special place that offers the mountains, nearby historic Genadendal and it has lots of wonderful coffee shops and the famous market.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
SLEEPS 6: 3 BEDROOMS (1 x Queen Bed, 1 x Double Bed, 2 Twin beds (2 extra beds available on the patio )

Velvet bedcovers make it ideal for a snuggle in winter.
The Bathroom is fitted with bath/shower (gas for water).
Electricity throughout the rest of the house.

Living Areas:
Portman House is a small cottage with an inside fireplace, and a fireplace in the indoor patio area. In summer all the doors fold out to the spacious patio and garden overlooking the mountains.There is a huge outdoor 'stoep' with a table ready to seat 12 guests. The kitchen also has a 10-table setting. Gas/Electric stove combination in the kitchen(Eurogas) as well as a microwave (no dishwasher or washing machine)
There is a Normal TV - bring DSTV card

From the lounge there is a spacious patio and beautiful garden surrounded by the mountains
