Like all Icon Villas, the Pocket Villas are handpicked by Therese, who, with her unerring eye for beauty, was frustrated by the many gorgeous villas she inspected, homes with real soul and character, yet not quite polished enough to meet the exacting demands of the international globetrotter. Not that her Pocket Villas aren’t luxurious, but it’s a different kind of luxury she celebrates here – the kind that says put your feet up and make yourself at home; bring the kids, in some instances the family dog even, and spend quality time in an unpretentious environment that’s truly welcoming. It’s about unwinding in spaces that are decorated with flair, rather than insisting on an en-suite bathroom with every bedroom. Enjoying a great view through the kitchen window rather than contemplating a state-of-the-art espresso machine.
